Hey ya'll! As the Fall season approaches we are redecorating our porch and doing leaf crafts this week. Today we purchased a $1 tee from the Dollar Tree along with these adorable felt leaves and created a fun leaf tee. Cairo is practicing his colors daily while unschooling and this was a fun way to incorporate crafting + learning into our routine. Hurry to your local Dollar Tree to get a tee while supplies last! They had yellow, white, black, orange and even some blue at our local store. These would make a great Halloween craft too just grab a glue stick and make it your own. Making this tee only cost us $3 bucks as we already had a glue gun. I purchased the shirt, a bag of glitter glue sticks and the felt leaves.
Fall is also a great time for outdoor adventures + learning in nature. This time of year is when we are able to hike through the woods and see past the tree lines. The boys love exploring the woods and scavenging for materials like acorns, pine cones and sticks. We use nature tools to make all sorts of fun crafts at home including leaf bugs, pinecone owls and leaf robots. You can be more eco friendly using tools from nature as opposed to buying lots of materials from the store. The Dollar Tree helps me with my unschooling needs while maintaining my budget.

What do you enjoy doing most when the Fall season rolls around? Let us know, we love hearing from you!
