I wrote a book! | Children's literature | Motherhood Unplugged

Good news! I'm excited to announce that I wrote my first children's book! Writing has been apart of my life when I began writing short stories as a child.

After having children of my own, I quickly learned that brown boys and girls were scarcely represented in children's literature so I took the plunge and wrote a book myself. We are gearing up for our book release in October and I couldn't be more excited. I wrote this book last year after getting the idea that I should be cataloging these adventures down in another way besides blogging, vlogging and photographs. I wanted to be able to share our stories through my children's eyes and not just through my own lens. This sparked me to pour out my thoughts onto paper to create this whimsical series of family adventures. My hope is that this book series will be an extension of my Motherhood Unplugged brand, aimed at encouraging families to "See the World and take the kids!" This series will take you across the globe with my family while educating your kiddos while reading fun and whimsical stories.
