Bike riding through Hopkins

1. Bucketlist Trip

My top Buckelist Trip would have to be going to Bali. I have watched countless YouTube videos on Bali vacations. I simply love traveling to tropical locations where the weather is warm, the water is clear, the food is authentically organic + delicious and the people are friendly. I want to hop on a scooter and ride through the streets just as I am pictured above in Belize. I hadn't been on a bicycle since I was a teenager so this was so much fun!

2. Travel Essential

My no. 1 travel essential has to be sunscreen. When I learned about the latest sunscreen craze in the beauty industry by Blackgirl Sunscreen I knew I wanted to give it a try. I love natural products when it comes to my skin so drinking lots of water + using a sunscreen that moisturizes is always a good combination. This product is made from natural ingredients like shea butter, which I used on my body as well as carrot oil, jojoba oil, almond oil + avocado. It's gentle enough for me to use with sensitive skin and even on my boys. In fact, I'm giving away a bottle of this liquid gold on my Instagram. Enter for your chance to win!

3. In flight reading

I took along my book, The Influencer, to finish reading on the plane. I usually don't get much free quiet time to read during the day but I was able to knock this one out. If you are serious about your social media platform pick one up!

4. Preferred Travel Outfit

I love comfort over cute any day. Now don't get me wrong I definitely had my share of days wearing shoes that killed my feet or pants that were to tight but in my late 30's I prefer athleisure for my daily fashion and travel wear. I'm a huge fan of Nike and often purchase an assortment of their Nike Airmax to sport to the gym or wear on the weekend. In the summer months, I'm good for wearing denim shorts with a tank or a cute printed romper and sandals. I like to coverup with a separate piece like a denim long sleeve shirt or hoodie that can be wrapped around my waist for versatility. Traveling through the airport whether alone or with the family is like a sport within itself so being comfortable is always most important for me.

5. Favorite Airport

One of my favorite airports to date besides the major hub of Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson has to be Orange county, California. Everything about that airport seemed luxurious! It rivals in comparison to my home town of New York's LaGuardia Airport. I still can't believe they haven't upgraded that building to compete with all of the others in its tier. I also get a kick out of going to the smaller airports and being able to walk onto the tarmac like that in Belize + St. Lucia.

Belize

6. Most recent trip

My most recent trip was to Hopkins Bay, Belize. This island is magical and I definitely recommend going if you've never been. I stayed within the village amongst the people, swam in the ocean's barrier reef, ate the local food while watching the guys play basketball across the street, road a bike through the town and felt like a Belizean for the weekend. I loved it!

7. In flight snack

When given the choice of a snack + beverage on the plane I usually tend to order either water or cranberry juice plus a KIND bar. I love the KIND bars and often purchase them at home for snacks. They are healthy with a sweet element perfect for an inflight snack.

8. Most recent In flight movie

I recently watched "Ramen Heads" while on the flight to Atlanta. I love Asian cuisine and learned so much about the history of ramen. It is definitely a must see if you're into that sort of thing.

Now that I've shared a few things about me, tell me something about yourself. If you'd love to be featured in my #momstraveltribe Travel Edition interviews, please send me an email I'd love to have you on the blog.

Thanks for reading and Happy Travels,
