Keeping Active while Working from Home | Motherhood Unplugged


As some of you may know I joined Planet Fitness a few years ago after moving further away from my former gym at LA Fitness. We also have a make shift gym in our home which I use sparingly. Lately, I've been finding the need to use it more frequently since starting my journey with VIPKID. Working from home has been such a blessing and with the start of anything new I tend to throw myself in head first and give it all I've got. With that said it is easy to become so entrenched in my new endeavor that my old ones like staying 'fit' can tend to slip. Working as an ESL teacher can be sedentary unless you have a stand up desk so it is important for me to remain active even if I don't make it to my gym in the evenings. I've come to enjoy working out at home over the years while watching Youtube fitness videos. Here are some of my favorite go to's I've been using. You can even watch them at your gym and follow along if you don't have a regular routine or personal trainer. Spring and Summer will be here before you know it, join me in my quest to maintaining healthy habits whether you're working from home or the office.
